Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 dependent on experience

Current Archaeology magazine is looking for a full-time Assistant Editor to join its editorial team for a fixed term (circa 12 months tbc maternity cover) from April 2024. The successful candidate will be a hard-working and talented writer and researcher. A keen interest in archaeology and a sound understanding of the subject is essential. You will need to be a strong all-rounder who can work to deadlines, write lively copy, help with news-gathering, and commission and edit features for this 68-page monthly magazine.
